Kerem Oral brings more than three decades of experience delivering architectural precision for the most demanding houses in luxury retail.
As a third-generation architect and co-founder of Oral Architecture & Engineering, he leads a studio that has been trusted with the detailed execution of over 150 mono-brand boutiques across Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia — consistently collaborating with Parisian maisons in high fashion, fine jewellery, leather goods, and fragrance.
Educated in France and raised within a family atelier founded in 1933, Kerem combines heritage with technical command. His approach is defined by discretion, discipline, and deep alignment with brand expectations — from concept development through technical translation, site supervision, and handover.
Kerem personally oversees each project, ensuring that the architecture faithfully expresses the identity of the brand, and that timelines and quality standards are respected with no deviation.
He is regularly engaged by design and construction directors where execution must be flawless and the margin for error is zero.

Emre Oral brings a unique combination of commercial acumen, legal precision, and strategic oversight to the execution of high-end retail environments.
As Partner, Emre is responsible for overseeing all aspects of client engagement, contractual structuring, pricing strategy, and the qualification of contractors. Throughout the life of each project, he ensures that legal, financial, and operational risks are carefully managed — from tender to closeout.
Emre plays a central role in schedule monitoring, claims mitigation, and crisis resolution. His calm, structured approach provides clients with confidence that the project will be delivered without deviation — in both cost and timing.
Before joining the family firm in 2000, Emre held strategic roles at L’Oréal in France, Coca-Cola, and in media and private equity in Istanbul and London. .
Emre holds a degree in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master’s in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
He is the discreet guarantor of smooth delivery — ensuring every project runs as precisely behind the scenes as it looks in the boutique window.
HISTORY
Muhtar Oral
Born in Istanbul in 1907, our grandfather Muhtar Oral set the standard for meticulous craftsmanship in Turkey's architectural landscape. Graduating from the esteemed Royal Engineering School (now Istanbul Technical University) in 1930, Muhtar began his career on projects that demanded exacting attention to detail, such as the construction of the New Unkapanı Bridge. He was a design and build contractor also involved in project management and local architect practice.
Oral Architecture & Engineering
In 1935, he founded his own architectural practice. From the refined design of the Ragip Bey Villa along the Bosphorus to the carefully crafted Üçler Apartment on Gümüşsuyu Avenue, Muhtar's work reflected a profound respect for materials and craftsmanship. In his projects, he either acted a design and build contractor or a project management firm carrying out most challenging programs in accordance of his clients requirements.
Yapi Kredi Bank
His longstanding collaboration with Yapı ve Kredi Bank, beginning in 1946, showcased his commitment to excellence. Over two decades, Muhtar was responsible for the design and construction of over 200 bank branches across Turkey as a design and build contractor . He oversaw every detail—from architectural planning to bespoke interior furnishings—ensuring each branch met the highest standards of quality. Muhtar passed away in 1980, leaving behind a legacy defined by precision and dedication to his craft.

In 1946 after the foundation of Yapi Ve Kredi Bank in Istanbul Muhtar Oral worked exclusively on bank branches and “Award House” for the same bank on design and building basis. Ahmet Oral
Ahmet Oral, carried forward this tradition of excellence with a global perspective. Educated at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, Ahmet refined his skills in environments that valued precision and innovation. His experiences with leading firms in London and Zurich enriched his approach to design, emphasizing meticulous planning and execution.

Returning to Turkey in 1964, Ahmet infused the family firm with fresh insights while maintaining our core commitment to quality. He continued the esteemed partnership with Yapı ve Kredi Bank, contributing to projects like their Istanbul headquarters and various branches nationwide. His work extended to luxury residential developments, including an apartment block in Bebek and duplex apartments in Dragos, each project reflecting a harmonious blend of elegance and functionality.

Between 1977 and 1984, Ahmet's passion for detail led him to design and produce bespoke interiors and modular kitchens from his own workshop, emphasizing craftsmanship and personalized design solutions. His leadership ensured that Oral Architecture & Engineering remained synonymous with meticulous quality and client-focused service.
